Privacy Policy

CleanSheet ("we", "our", or "us") operates the CleanSheet Google Sheets™ add-on, which automates row management through smart rules. This Privacy Policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and your rights.

Google API Limited Use Disclosure: CleanSheet's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide and improve the CleanSheet service — it is not used for advertising, sold to third parties, or used to develop AI/ML models.

1. Data We Access

CleanSheet requests the following Google™ account permissions:

Google Sheets™ (current spreadsheet only): To read row data and apply rule actions (highlight, delete, archive, move rows) in the spreadsheet where the add-on is installed. No other spreadsheets are accessed.
User email address: To identify your account for Pro license validation.
Script triggers: To create time-based or onOpen triggers for scheduled rule execution.
Sidebar UI: To display the CleanSheet interface inside Google Sheets.
External requests: To call our license validation API to check your Pro plan status.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not store the content of your spreadsheets on our servers.
We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, or any other Google service.
We do not sell your data.
We do not share your data with third parties except as described in Section 6.
We do not use Google user data to train or improve AI/ML models.

3. How We Use Google User Data

CleanSheet uses Google user data exclusively to provide the core functionality of the add-on:

Google Sheets™ data is accessed solely to evaluate your rules against row values and perform the action you configured (highlight, delete, archive, or move). Spreadsheet content is processed in memory only — it is never sent to or stored on our servers.
Your email address is used solely to validate your Pro license status via a secure API call. It is not used for marketing without your explicit consent.
We do not use Google user data for any purpose other than providing the CleanSheet service directly to you.

4. Data Protection & Security

Encryption in transit: All communication between the add-on and our servers uses TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS).
Encryption at rest: License data stored in our database (Supabase) is encrypted at rest using AES-256.
Minimal data access: The add-on requests only the minimum OAuth scopes necessary. Spreadsheet access is limited to the current document only (spreadsheets.currentonly).
No spreadsheet storage: Row data is processed in memory and never written to disk or stored in any external database.
Access controls: Access to our production database is restricted to authorized personnel only.

5. Data We Store

Your email address — stored in our database (Supabase) solely to manage your Pro license status.
Add-on configuration — your saved rules are stored in Google Apps Script™ Document Properties, which are tied to your spreadsheet and never leave Google's infrastructure.

6. Third-Party Services

Supabase — used to store license data. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
Paddle — used for payment processing. Subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy.

7. Data Retention

Your license data (email address, plan status) is retained as long as you have an active account. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at yoldoshevtemur96@gmail.com.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account data at any time.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.

9. Children's Privacy

CleanSheet is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or within the add-on. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
